Bail, Then Re-Arrested: Prison Gates Turned Into Tools of Political Vengeance
If a person is re-arrested at the prison gate on fabricated charges even after being granted bail, that is not law—it is state deception carried out in the name of law. Being freed in one case only to be detained again in another false case has now become a standard practice under the illegal rule of the usurper Yunus. There is no justice here—only vengeance. There is no rule of law—only repression.
Without having committed any crime, Awami League leaders, activists, and supporters are rotting in jail for months on end. Parents are dying, spouses and children are being lost, while
the imprisoned person can do nothing but stand within four walls and receive the news. Had Chhatra League’s Saddam received bail in time, perhaps his wife and children would still be alive today. But this brutal cycle—being arrested again in a new case the moment bail is granted in another—destroyed his life. This is not an isolated incident; it is a planned campaign of repression against Awami League leaders, activists, and supporters. Proof of crime is not required here—identity alone is enough. There are no human rights, no rule of law. Everything has collapsed under state-sponsored vengeance in the grip of
an illegal usurper. We do not accept this injustice. We do not accept this state repression by illegal usurpers. Re-arrests at the prison gate after bail must stop. Prisons must no longer be used as instruments of political vengeance.
